Retirement of Noel Golden & Jim Tuohy

December 2009 saw the end of an era for Sisk with the retirement of two of our Main Board Directors, both of whom served in the Western Region for many years.

Noel worked for 36 years with Sisk in the Western Region based in the Galway office, while Jim who was with us for 30 years, the last 10 of which were spent running the Limerick office.

Many buildings in the extensive Western Region stand today as testament to their construction capabilities and leadership during their long working life. We wish both Noel and Jim a happy and active retirement.

Joe McLoughlin will be appointed as Main Board Director with responsibility for the Western Region and Northern Ireland. The Mid-West Region (Counties Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary) will become part of the Southern Region. Joe Byrne will continue as Regional Director in the Western Region based in Galway. Seamus Kiniry will join the Southern Region based in Limerick.
