N11 Kilpeddar Interchange
March 2008
The project, which cost €34.6m, was funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan, and will provide safe and efficient movement of traffic to and from Greystones, Co Wicklow. The Interchange provides another important link in the infrastructure network serving the Eastern corridor, Co Wicklow and Delgany. It will improve traffic movement on the N11, the main Dublin to Wexford route, while removing an estimated 25% of traffic volumes running through Delgany Village.
Both Minister Roche and County Manager, Eddie Sheehy, acknowledged and commended the involvement of the various parties to the project, including Sisk, for the quality of work and satisfactory delivery. They also paid tribute to the landowners and communities who were affected by this project and thanked them for their support during the construction period.
