N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Road Scheme

The N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Scheme Phase 4: Knocktopher to Powerstown forms part of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Scheme and covers the section of the N9 and N10 between the tie in to Phase 2 of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Scheme immediately north of the existing R699 and west of Knocktopher, Co Kilkenny and the tie-in to Phase 1 of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Scheme northeast of the existing N9 at Powerstown approximately 7km south of Carlow Town.

The development will consist of the construction of 40km of high quality dual carriageway. It also includes the construction of 6.5km of single carriageway link road to Kilkenny City and three grade seperated junctions. There will be 56 Principal Structures.
