Sisk Brochure Launch
2nd April 2007

The new Sisk brochure was recently given a ‘Grand’ launch and one which it thoroughly deserves. This new brochure is the first major production within the company for well over 10 years. When one considers how the Irish Construction industry has blossomed in that period and particularly the many landmark projects which Sisk have delivered the new brochure ,running to 80 pages, has managed to do justice to many of these.

Over 100 Clients and Consultants were invited to the evening which kicked off in the new Urban Retreat Gallery at Hanover Quay on Grand Canal Dock. Sisk and our guests, kindly aided by Gallery’s owner, Noelle Campbell Sharp, were granted a preview of the works of artist Gemma Billington. The atmosphere in the gallery was great as people arrived , got a drink and caught up with friends, both new and old while appreciating the art. At 8pm all present repaired to the Ely HQ restaurant for the formal launch of the brochure followed by dinner.

Tom Costello, our Managing Director, spoke first ….’the past ten years have been a golden age in Ireland and particularly the construction industry. Sisk have been honoured to have worked on many of the major projects which have taken place and to have relationships with Clients and Consultants who value our work highly’. Tom highlighted the proximity of the launch location to two major projects of public interest, the National Conference Centre and the Grand Canal Theatre projects both of which will be built by Sisk. Following Tom our guest speaker for the launch, Senator David Norris, regaled the audience with stories from his many interests in Georgian Dublin, James Joyce, and Politics.

The evening was particularly memorable for a three-piece musical group from the Philippines, called Tropical Storm, who could play any popular song requested of them….. despite some people’s best efforts.
