Centocor Biologics Plant, Ringaskiddy

Sisk Pharma Division are the Construction Management Team (CMT) for both the Construction & Commissioning of the Centocor project in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
Centocor are constructing a new Biologics Plant, a greenfield project consisting of a 10,000m2 Production Building, a Central Utilities Building, a Warehouse and a Lab/Admin Building.
Design started in America in Nov 2004 with construction breaking ground in July 2005.
Current progress stands at over 82% complete with over 29,000m of pipe erected. On the 5th Feb we successfully handed over on schedule the first portion of the project, the laboratory floor of the Lab/Admin building, to Centocor
ownership. This was achieved in conjunction with working over 825,000 manhours without a lost time accident. Sisk Pharma are also the CMT for a €12m expansion on to the production building.
The achievement of 750,000 Accident Free Hours was celebrated on the 15th February with a ceremony attended by over 100 people from Client, Works Contractors and Sisk. Certificates of recognition were awarded to all contractors.
