Sisk have just completed the construction of a new hospital in Waterford which will open its doors for business in the coming week.The Eurocare organisation, founded by Dr. James Madden, have invested €74M in the Whitfield Clinic to provide world-class medical care to both Public and Private patients. The running of the hospital is a partnership between Eurocare and University of Pittsburgh. The Hospital area measures over 9500 m2 and includes : 4 operating theatres; 2 radiotherapy linear accelerators in bunkers; 40 bed wards; diagnostics. An additional floor was added during the construction period. The facility is heavily serviced on a tight site and was delivered to a demanding programme. The safety on the project was also exceptional with over 666,000 manhours worked accident free.
