Castletroy Park Retirement Complex

The development was constructed around an existing five star hotel which remained fully operational during the entire duration of the building project.  In advance of construction work commencing the planning permission stipulated that the existing trees be transplanted and replanted on the grounds of the development before completion of the project. Over 350 trees were removed and subsequently transplanted successfully

The development consisted of

• 2 storey 55 bedroom nursing home
• 2x4 storey assisted living apartment blocks
• 49 retirement bungalows
• 2-storey medical centre
• 2 storey 10 unit office block (shell & core only)
• 2-storey crèche
• 2-storey mixed use commercial building (shell & core only)
• Onsite drainage incorporating a waste land attenuation system.
• Car parking facilities including underground parking for 215 cars
• Extensive landscaping

An A++ rating is achieved for this ‘warm frame’ system under the BRE Green Guide.
