The project consists of a 361 room Hilton Hotel and a 660 unit student accommodation block with additional retail and leisure facilities.

The development forms part of the Quintain Estates & Development’s Wembley City regeneration scheme and the contract award follows the successful completion by Sisk of Wembley Arena, Wembley W01 and Wembley W04.

Included within this area is the innovative “Envac Building”. This is a waste and recyclables collecting station that has already been constructed by Sisk. Waste and recyclables are collected by an underground air tube system from inlets in the existing buildings and full containers are lifted straight on to the collection vehicle behind closed doors; greatly enhancing the local environment. The facility will now be extended to the new buildings and will be topped by a green roof garden as the development is completed.

The new hotel will be ready in time for the 2012 Olympics and will provide accommodation for guests attending the football matches in the nearby Wembley Stadium. The student accommodation will be completed by September 2012.
